Victoria Kasdan is co-founder and Board Chairperson of Making An Impact.

Ms. Kasdan is a registered nurse, former public health executive, and accomplished leader with more than 30 years of experience across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Previously, as Executive Director, she led a healthcare nonprofit delivering more than $1.3 million annually in free care to nearly 1,000 low-income uninsured residents.

Recognized twice as one of Florida’s Top 50 Influencers, she is deeply engaged in community service as a Trustee and Board Secretary for Tidewell Foundation and Board Chair of the regional Health Council of West Central Florida.

Victoria is also a travel agency franchise owner and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois. She is also a retired licensed insurance agent specializing in health, life, and variable annuities.

Deborah Croce is a Board Secretary at Making An Impact.

Ms. Croce is the Director of Human Resources at Easterseals of Southwest Florida and an accomplished Executive Human Resources (HR) Leader focused on transforming organizational culture and driving scalable business growth. Her professional journey includes significant leadership roles in the hospitality industry and renowned nonprofit organizations.

She has received numerous honors and awards throughout her career, has been a guest lecturer at several universities, and has held several past Board of Directors positions.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York, The College at Brockport (SUNY Brockport).

John Sperrazza is Board Treasurer and a founding Board member at Making An Impact.

Mr. Sperrazza is a retired Director at Zelis, a global technology company offering healthcare financial systems. With over 27+ years of experience in health insurance administration, John is a recognized industry leader and expert in the field.

Prior to joining Zelis, John was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, where he held leadership roles in account management, operations, and customer service.

Sperrazza holds a bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Minnesota and is a Fellow of the Academy for Healthcare Management.

MICHAEL A. ROBINSON

Retired, Pharmacist

Michael Robinson is a Board Member at Large with Making An Impact, Inc., and a founding board member, Michael Robinson brings nearly four decades of leadership and healthcare expertise to the organization.

A retired Pharmacy Manager with Walgreens Boots Alliance, he dedicated more than 39 years to advancing pharmacy operations, patient care, and medication management.

Mr. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Illinois and is highly experienced in pharmacy operations, medication therapy management, and prescription compounding.

Avolon Joseph is a Board Member at Large with Making An Impact.

Ms. Moses is a retired public utility executive and financial expert. with past leadership roles at Potomac Electric Power Company (PEPCO) and New England Electric Systems  (NEES). She has also held marketing and financial management roles at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).

She has over 30 years of experience in business planning processes, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, product development, and project management.

Avolon holds an MBA and a BS in Accounting from Boston University.

MARJO MATSUTOMI
Th.D., Ph.D.

Chaplain & Mental Health Coach

Marjo Mitsutomi, is an accomplished educator, linguist, and ordained chaplain with a distinguished international career spanning academia, aviation, and community service.

Dr. Mitsutomi has served as a tenured professor and academic administrator in both the United States and Japan, including at the University of Redlands and Akita International University. She holds a Doctor of Theology from Newburgh Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Ball State University, with a specialization in second-language acquisition and teaching methodologies.

In addition to her academic career, Dr. Mitsutomi served as President of M.I. Air Corp., a flight school, and as a private pilot, during which she consulted with the FAA and contributed to the development of international aviation language standards now used globally to enhance safety.

An accomplished author, translator, and TEDx speaker, she is also an experienced chaplain providing compassionate care and support across diverse community settings.

Fluent in Finnish, English, and Japanese, Dr. Mitsutomi brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to education, service, and community impact.

WILLIAM GERALD "JERRY" PLATT

Retired, Dean, College of Business

William Gerald (Jerry) Platt is a seasoned academic, financial expert, and nonprofit leader with extensive experience in business finance, data analytics, and grant development.

A former Professor, Department Chair, and Dean at institutions including San Francisco State University and the University of Redlands, he has spent decades shaping business education and advancing financial literacy.

Dr. Platt also brings corporate and consulting expertise in financial analysis and health economics, as well as international teaching experience in Japan.

He holds advanced degrees from Stanford University (Post-Doctoral Data Analytics), The Ohio State University (Ph.D. and M.A.), Wayne State University (MBA), and Michigan State University (B.S. with honors), and is actively engaged in board service and community-based initiatives.
